The entire concept of the wooden villas, with the lush landscaping, topped of by one of the most spectacular beaches in the Bahamas, are the architectural talents of the owner, Sammy T. Sammy T. travelled around the Bahamas for a year, collecting art pieces to decorate each villa completely different.These Bahamian art pieces also adorn the restaurant. The gift shop, featuring all bahamian made items, opened six months ago.
Because Sammy T’s Beach Resort is a small, secluded resort, its staff caters to the needs of all of its guests, and that customer service is one of the reasons so many guests return year after year for a relaxing Caribbean vacation on the Out Islands of The Bahamas.
Located on two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, right on the beach, Sammy T’s provides seven villas, all with ocean views of Bennett Harbor in Cat Island, Bahamas. Owner Sammy Thurston operates his dream resort not only as a business, but as his home. Opening the intimate, private resort on The Bahamas was a lifelong dream for Mr. Thurston, who wanted to return to his family’s ancestral birthplace.
